The MEMOLA project has built an artificial archaeological site in two educational centres in Granada.  This site has been built as an educational resource where students‬ can learn to be archaeologists‬ for one day, practicing excavation techniques and methodologies,  filling archaeological forms and sieving archaeological sediments. They can also learn how to analyse material culture, identifying the chronology and functionality of the different structures and findings.  The objective of this educational activity has been to introduce archaeology, with its methods and tecniques, to primary school students and to raise awareness about the importance and values of the underground archaeological heritage and its preservation.
