Creating a collage of sounds about tales and objects in the City and Industry Museum of Rüsselsheim. Museums offer a stage on which objects can be showcased. But how does history actually sound? This question occupied fifteen young artists for several weeks. Under the wing of the museum team, the youths started off by diving into the depths of the world of objects on display in the permanent exhibition. The eager musicians set out to venture into the acoustic dimensions of the past. Eventually, a collage of sound was created. The results of this work ware presented in a performance in the exhibition. The teenagers were supported during the process of exploration of the objects displayed, during composition, choreography planning and  the performance itself by museum staff  and the local music school, as well as a composer. The artists used their voices, their instruments and run of the mill household items to unveil their take on the melody of history
