While they may appear empty, unused historical buildings -- such as  abandoned factories, schools, warehouses and barracks -- retain the history of local communities. Forget Heritage seeks new public-private cooperation models to protect and valorise cultural heritage, enhancing its hidden potential. By encouraging cooperation among Central European cities, the project aims to identify innovative, replicable and sustainable private-public cooperation models for the management of historical sites, valorising them via the setting up of creative and cultural industries. The Forget Heritage project has a focus on citizens’ involvement in planning activities as well as on the involvement of creative enterprises in implementation.
