The Jane Addams Papers is a scholarly editing project publishing the correspondence and writings of social worker, settlement founder, peace activist, and Progressive icon Jane Addams. The freely accessible digital edition covers the years 1901-1935 and includes document images with searchable transcriptions, descriptive metadata to facilitate search, and links to identifications of the people, organizations, events and publications mentioned in the texts. It includes a growing collection of educational resources and visualizations, and a tool for crowdsourcing transcriptions.
