The Archaeological Museum of Andean Technologies is the result of a work of protection, conservation of archaeological pieces of more than 26 years, as detailed by Sr. Rebecca Frick, that the gift of a small huaco (pot) from a resident who had previously asked her for help with a cross to take to her husband's grave, would be the reason to set out on the path of protection of archaeological heritage of the Moro district, thus initiating the awareness of the population to donate their archaeological objects of their possession to the archaeological museum, the donations of ceramics and textile pieces were gradually accumulating that in total has accumulated more than 521 archaeological pieces.

The Archaeological Museum of Andean Technologies is a new cultural space that contains a museum exhibition that gives an account of the cultural wealth of the Ancash region; It will become an indispensable element of the education and memory of the peoples, promoting the protection of the archaeological heritage in the Moro district and the Nepeña Valley.

Thanks to Led "Liechtenstein Service for Development" and the Sisters of Mercy of San Vicente de Paul with the team of specialists in archeology, museology, curators make possible the creation, implementation and inauguration of the Archaeological Museum of Andean Technologies on 8 August 2015, to display the archaeological collections in its museum room designed and aimed at raising awareness about the protection and conservation of the archaeological heritage of the Moro district and the Nepeña valley.
