The Romany Local Collectionon in Újpest is the result of a 17-year-long research project by István Gábor Molnár and his workmates. They researched and backed-up contents regarding the cultural heritage of the Romany community in Újpest. The collection consists of more than a thousand photos, archive documents, family interviews and objects -- but only 20% of this collection is exhibited in the Rácz Gyöngyi Community Center in Újpest. The topic of the exhibition is the history of the city through the life of the Romany families lthat have been living there for ages.
